Pallavi Anand

Pallavi Anand is a Professor of Ocean Biogeochemistry and Palaeoclimatology at the Open University (UK). She received her PhD in biogeochemistry in 2002 from the University of Cambridge (UK) followed by postdoctoral positions at University of Cambridge (UK), Vrije Universiteit (the Netherlands) and the Open University (UK) where she was appointed as a Lecturer. Her research interests span across disciplines including development and application of biogeochemical tools (trace elements and stable and radiogenic isotopes) in palaeoclimate reconstructions, ecosystem conservation and diversity and inclusion. She has served as editorial board member of Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology and as panel member of the UK Research and Innovation funding councils.
