Susan Little
EAG Councillor
Susan is a Lecturer and NERC independent research fellow at University College London. She is an isotope geochemist, interested in developing novel tracers of carbon cycling in the past and present ocean. She completed her PhD at the University of Bristol in 2013, in the Bristol Isotope Group, before spending two years at ETH Zürich as a postdoctoral researcher. Since 2015 she has been based in London as a research fellow, first in the MAGIC group at Imperial College London, before moving to UCL in 2019. Her research utilises the isotopes of various bioessential and redox sensitive trace metals (including copper, zinc, cadmium, nickel), unlocking their potential to reconstruct the co-evolution of oxygen and life on Earth.
