As a Latin American and neurodivergent geochemist, I have experienced firsthand how diverse cognitive and cultural perspectives drive scientific innovation. This personal insight fuels my dedication to fostering a more inclusive and equitable geoscience community, which I actively pursue through my involvement with organizations such as GeoLatinas, the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and the European Geoscience Union (EGU). On the DEI Committee, I am committed to helping build structures that empower scientists from all backgrounds and cognitive styles to contribute fully and thrive.
