Follow the adventures of a research team in Antarctica

Follow the adventures of a research team in Antarctica

One of our EAG Councillors, Vinciane Debaille (University of Brussels) is currently in Antarctica, south of the Princess Elisabeth Station, on a mission to collect meteorites. The team of 5 Belgian and 3 Japanese scientists will also be looking for micrometeorites (smaller than 2mm), which form the largest fraction of the 104 tons of extraterrestrial material falling on Earth every year. You can follow their adventures at The Planet Topers in Antarctica.
