Tribute to Pete Burnard

Tribute to Pete Burnard

The members of CRPG Nancy are sad to announce the death of their friend and colleague Pete Burnard, in a hang-gliding accident on Sunday July 12, 2015. Those who would like to leave a message in tribute to Pete can do so on this page. Our thoughts are with his wife Elspeth and his children Elinor and Callum, and with his family and all of his friends at this tragic moment.

Latest Elements: Social and Economic Impacts of Geochemistry

Latest Elements: Social and Economic Impacts of Geochemistry

This issue demonstrates the application of geochemistry to a variety of societally and economically important areas, including: mineral exploration; environmental mineralogy; environmental problems in cities, using London (England) as a case study; food industry authenticity; law enforcement; and medical advancements. A significant driver for the research described in all of these articles is analytical achievement and translating this to a societal application.

EAG members will receive their print copy shortly and have online access to all issues of Elements (user id = email address, password = EAG membership number). To verify your postal address or your membership number, login to your member area.

Student Sponsorship Program: next deadline is 1 September
