With a fine dining menu (vegetarian option available) and copious drinks, dancing till the small hours in beautiful surroundings, the Conference Banquet will be a night to remember. As in 2011 it will be held in Prague's Municipal House, one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau structures in Europe. We have booked only the most suitable rooms at the venue (elegant first floor, Smetana Hall and stunning French Restaurant, not the basement bars) which means places are limited.

We are excited to announce that this October, EAG Distinguished Lecturer Prof. Miryam Bar-Matthews (Geological Survey of Israel) will be giving lectures on speleothems in Kiev (Ukraine), Budapest (Hungary), Postojna (Slovenia) and Zadar (Croatia). Through the EAG Distinguished Lecture Program, we aim to introduce and motivate scientists located in under-represented regions to emerging research areas in geochemistry.
