Distinguished Lecture Tour 2012

The EAG started a Distinguished Lecture Program last year, aiming to introduce and motivate scientists located in under-represented regions of the world to emerging research areas in geochemistry. Each year, a lecturer is selected based on a combination of outstanding research contributions to geochemistry and the ability to clearly communicate these contributions. We are happy to announce that Tim Elliott, whose research focuses on the chemical evolution of the Earth, has been selected as the Distinguished Lecturer 2012 and will be visiting universities in Poland, Bulgaria and Romania next month.
